2025 Eastwood Pennant Results

The 2025 pennant season is now complete for all of our teams. See below for an update on each team.
Men’s Pennant Results:
The final round was played at Kew GC vs second placed Sandhurst on Sunday. In what was a very evenly fought contest against the 2nd placed side, the end result was a 3.5 – 3.5 halved contest to finish the season.
Our Men’s team suffered losses in the first 3 games of the season, but fought back extremely well finishing off the year with 3 wins in a row as well as the halved final match. The tally reads 3 wins, 3 losses and a half and a 6th placed finish, which was only 1.5 wins away from a place in the final, showing how tight the division was.
The team will remain in Division 3 for the 2026 season.
Friday Women’s Pennant Results:
It was another very competitive season from our Friday Women’s team, with the final ledger reading 4 wins, 2 losses and a half, resulting in a 3rd place finish to end the 2025 season.
Their final round result was a positive one, winning 4-3 against second placed Hungtindale at the beautiful Peninsula Kingswood, but unfortunately, we fell just short of making the final based on individual matches.
The 3rd place finish will keep the team in Division 1 for the 2026 season.
Youth Pennant Results:
The youth pennant season finished up on Sunday, with the team suffering a 3.5-1.5 loss to the strong 1st placed team Patterson River at Heritage GC.
In what was the first season having a youth team back playing scratch pennant in a decade, it was fantastic to see the guys fight out the season right through to the end. Our players will greatly benefit from the return to the competitive scene and we are sure this will stimulate improvement in each of their golf games going forwards.
A big thanks to Brian and Ryan from the Golf Shop for helping mentor these guys through the season, as well as hosting regular team practice and bonding sessions. The support of both of these staff members, as well as Grant Morgan the team manager was crucial to help the confidence of the boys through a tough first season.
Good luck for 2026 !
